HARTFORD — Southern Coffey County High’s Lady Titans outlasted Hartford High’s girls in a “very physical ball game,” according to SCCH head coach Jeff True.
The Lady Titans won 45-37 to go to 3-3 in Lyon County League play and 4-3 overall.
Ashton Isch was 4 of 7 on three-point field goals leading SCCH with 21 points. She also had seven steals and six rebounds.
Kristin Stephens added 13 points and six rebounds for the Lady Titans. Samantha Jacob and Jenna Witteman each had three assists.
Sarah Webb scored four points while Jacob had three. Witteman and Ashley Johnson had two points each.
The junior varsity lost 18-12 in a two-quarter game Friday.
The Lady Titans had lost 70-33 to Olpe last Tuesday in LCL play. Isch scored 12 points and Stephens had 10 points.
Southern Coffey County goes to Burlingame Tuesday.
