LE ROY — Southern Coffey County High’s girls put the finishing touches on another sterling regular season with style Friday.
And rebounding.
And solid shooting.
The Lady Titans grabbed the early lead against visiting Lebo and never let up ina  58-45 win.
The victory lifts Southern Coffey County’s record to 16-4. The Lady Titans have secured a first-round bye in the Class 1A regional playoffs next week.
“The girls played well from start to finish,” Lady Titan head coach Jeff True said. “They did a good job on the boards and showed good patience on the offense end. We took good, high-percentage shots.”
Southern Coffey County shot 50 percent from the field and hit 18 of 24 free throws to maintain their lead.
Kaitlin Meyer led the way with 12 points, followed by Shelby Birk with 10.
Lauren Schlesener scored nine to pace Lebo.
