Lady Lancers fall against Indians

COLONY—From start to finish it was all Oswego High Indians here Friday in a homecoming battle for Crest High’s Lady Lancers. Crest fell big to Oswego 64-21.

Poor ball handling and fast break after fast break by the Indians made for an abysmal first half for the Lady Lancers. Oswego was took a 38-7 lead into the locker room at the break. 

Despite equaling their total first-half offense production in the third period, the Lady Lancers couldn’t keep Oswego from running the floor. The Indians outscored Crest in the second half 26-14 and beat the Lady Lancers 64-21.

Leading all players was Oswego’s Kinzie Nesbitt with 17 points. Sydney Pemberton cashed in 16 points of her own for the Indians.

High scorers for Crest were Katrina Strickler with seven points, and Kurston Gilliland and Brooklyn Gray-LaCross with four points each.
