COLONY — The regular season for Crest High’s girls ended on a sour night Thursday.
The Lady Lancers struggled on offense all night as visiting St. Paul High rolled to a 57-8 win.
“We actually got a lot of quality shots in the first half,” Crest head coach Terry Messenger said. “We just couldn’t get anything to fall.”
St. Paul’s offense, meanwhile, was humming from the start.
The Indians led 16-2 after one quarter and 40-8 at halftime. St. Paul outscored the Lady Lancers 17-0 after halftime.
Ashley Catt’s five points led Crest.
Kacie Phillips scored 19 points and Morgan Westhoff 14 to lead the Indians.
