OTTAWA Tuesday afternoon saw the Lady Devils volleyball team travel to Ottawa University for a matchup with the programs junior varsity squad.
ACC struggled the whole night to find a rhythm. Ottawas scrappy play kept the Lady Devils challenged. Even so, the Lady Devils hung tough and took the first two sets 25-15 and 25-17.
Ottawa battled back in the third set to win 26-24.
The Lady Devils came out hot after that defeat, and powered past Ottawa in the fourth set for a 25-13 victory. The ACC offense was lead by Brittney Eskridge and Adriana Santiago with 10 kills each.
Next up for the 3-2 Lady Devils is the Highland tournament this Friday and Saturday. ACC will face off against Benedictine JV, Ellsworth Community College, Southwestern Community College, and Iowa Lakes Community College.
