HUMBOLDT — A pair of Humboldt High Lady Cubs earned spots on the All-Tri-Valley League volleyball team.
Humboldt junior Sherri Middleton was named all-league, while sophomore Breanna Kline received honorable mention.
Middleton — who now owns the career block record for Humboldt with 262 — had 103 blocks on the 2012 season. She also delivered 183 kills, 26 digs, 26 aces and 13 assists. She was good on 92 percent of her serves.
Kline, meanwhile, had 153 kills, 45 digs, 39 aces and 10 assists to go with a 91 percent serving rate.
Two Yates Center High Wildcats also earned postseason honors.
Bailey Chambers was named all-league, while Addi Hughes received honorable mention. Their statistics were not available.
Humboldt tied for fifth in Tri-Valley League standings in 2012 with a 3-4 record. Yates Center finished seventh with a 1-6 mark.
