High School Tennis:
The Iola junior varsity tennis team sent its number two doubles team to Parsons to get in some work Monday.
Adryan Nading and Gabe Berry went winless in their three matches, and had a chance at fifth place in the finals match.
The started off the meet by falling to Chanute 6-3 and the host Vikings 6-0 and came down to a match versus Labette County to finish up the tournament.
They lost a close one, 6-5 (7-1 in tiebreakers) to close out the meet.
The varsity team will head to Pittsburg today and for the first time since early this season, will compete with a full squad.
