Jr. Wildcats lose to Uniontown

MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s football team ended up losing 46-18 to rival Uniontown Thursday.
Uniontown led 34-0 at halftime.
The Wildcats scored on a 45-yard run by Trent Johnson in the third quarter. Johnson had two touchdown runs of 36 and 30 yards in the fourth quarter.
Johnson finished with 176 yards on 16 carries plus had six tackles for Marmaton Valley. Seth Swaggerty had 48 yards on eight carries.
Shaun Frye made 12 tackles and recovered two fumbles. Tanner Odell had six tackles.
Gage Adams made five tackles and forced a fumble. Mike Beggs had a fumble recovery.
