UNIONTOWN — Uniontown High’s Eagles came back from a 22-10 first-quarter deficit to lead early in the fourth quarter Tuesday at home.
Jayhawk-Linn High’s Jayhawks outscored their hosts 12-5 in the final eight minutes for a 44-36 win.
“The big difference was the free-throw line. After we battled back and took the lead we couldn’t get to the line and couldn’t keep them off of it,” said Nathan Hinrichs, Eagle head coach.
The Jayhawks hit 19 of 28 charities to the Eagles’ 2 of 3.
Ryan Ramsey led the Eagles with 10 points and Robert Kuns had nine.
