Iola Seahorses open season at Indy

INDEPENDENCE — Iola Swim Team’s Seahorses broke into the 2011 summer swim season Wednesday at Independence.
There are 45 members swimming for the Seahorses this summer. Iola hosts Erie Wednesday at the Iola Municipal Pool in Riverside Park. Competition begins at 6 p.m.
Iola will host Cherryvale on June 22 then go to Chanute on June 29 and to Humboldt on July 6. Iola hosts Fort Scott on July 13. The SEK Swim League meet is July 23 at Chanute.
