CHANUTE — The Kansas American Legion AA Zone 4 baseball tournament got under way Thursday at Chanute’s Lindbald Field in Katy Park.

Wellington and Halstead dropped down into the losers bracket of the double elimination tournament. Lynn Ranabarger, tournament director, told the Register this morning Halstead may not have enough players to finish the tournament.
