The Iola junior varsity and C-Team and freshmen teams have had great success so far this week, winning all six of their games versus Osawatomie and Prairie View on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The junior varsity boys started things off on Tuesday with a 50-18 win over Osawatomie.
Sophomore Landon Carson led the way with 20 followed by 10 for sophomore Nathan Louk, six for senior Blake Harr, four for sophomore Brayden Cole, three for senior Dylan Newland, two each for sophomore Dillon Slaven, freshman Tyler Boeken and junior Elijah Fawson and one point for sophomore Dillon Bycroft.
The junior varsity girls followed suit with a 44-20 win.
Sophomore Kailey Schinstock led all scorers with 10 followed by eight for sophomore Lauryn Holloway, seven for junior Elysia Kunkler, six for sophomore Becca Sprague, five for junior Rachel Bycroft, four for junior Gaby Lampe, and two each for sophomores Hannah Gardner and McKenna Orear.
The C-Team boys beat the Trojans 26-19.
Freshman Karson Sigg had eight, freshman Ty Boeken had six, freshman Ryker Curry had five, freshmen Cooper Riley, Brett Morrison and Sam Fager each had two and Slaven had a point.
Lastly, the freshmen girls won 45-16.
Josie Plumlee led the way with 19 followed by 12 for Maci Miller, 10 for Chloe Sell and four for Miah Shelby.
On Wednesday, all four teams went right back to winning starting with the junior varsity boys 58-43 victory over the Buffalos.
Cole and Bycroft each scored 11. Bycroft also came within an eyelash of a triple-double after grabbing 10 rebounds and eight assits.
Louk had seven, Newland and Fawson each had five, Carson and Boeken each had four, sophomore Jack Adams, junior Noah Ashmore and junior Brady Nemecek each had three and Haar had two.
The junior varsity girls won 28-24.
Bycroft had eight followed by five for Kunkler and Gardner, three each for Lampe and Holloway and two for sophomore Andi Reynolds and Orear.
The freshmen boys beat the Buffalos 57-39.
Sigg had 19 followed 10 for Boeken, nine each for Fager and Morrison, six for Curry and two each for Adams and Slaven.
The freshmen Fillies wrapped things up with a dominating 27-5 win led by 11 from Curry, eight from Plumlee, four for Miller and two each for Sell and Shelby.
All four teams will wrap up this three-game week tonight at home versus Anderson County.
