LA CYGNE — Iola High’s freshman volleyball team went 1-3 at the Prairie View Invitational Tournament Saturday.
The Fillies dropped 25-13, 25-16 and 25-15, 25-21 decisions to Jayhawk-Linn and Burlington, respectively, before crushing the host Buffalos, 25-4, 25-10.
Iola ended the day with a 25-22, 25-20 loss to Anderson County.
“The girls fought hard, but we don’t have a lot of depth,” freshman head coach Jeff Fehr said, “and it was a long day.”
