CHANUTE — Iola High’s Mustang 7-on-7 football team went 3-1 in league action Thursday.
The Iola team will be playing in a league hosted by Chanute High School for the next several Thursday mornings. IHS head football coach Rick Horton made the announcement Thursday afternoon.
Iola beat Neodesha 21-0, Cherryvale 21-0 then lost to Chanute 14-7. Iola came back to defeat Humboldt 14-7.
The 7-on-7 league is a passing league.
