CHANUTE — Iola Middle School’s wrestling team concluded its 2011 season last Thursday at the Royster Middle School tournament in Chanute.
Brice Aiello captured another gold medal going 3-0 in his 134-pound bracket. Also at 134 pounds in a C bracket, Brandon Towne was 0-3.
Ben Cooper in the 80-pound A bracket, Nathaniel Evans at 115 pounds, R.J. Holding at 127 pounds and Andrew Garber at 155 pounds each went 1-1 and took second-place medals. Chandler House was 1-2 in the 141-pound B bracket.
Going 0-2 were Judith Branstetter in the 80-pound B bracket, Mason Snavely in the 85-90-pound bracket, Domanick Bresee in the 127-pound C bracket, Nathaniel Streeter at 155-pound B and Seth Sanford at 180 pounds.
Aaron Terhune in the 120-pound bracket, Rhett Allen in the 141-pound B bracket and Michael Trainor at 165 pounds, all went 0-3.
