Klubek’s father, Kelly, shared a saying about Emily’s philosophy toward high school band.
“Not to take anything away from the game and the athletes, but without the band, it is just a game,” Kelly Klubek said.

Her dream is to participate in a drum and bugle corps.
The 40th annual Shrine Bowl will kick off at 7 p.m. at Washburn University’s Yager Stadium.
