INDEPENDENCE — Iola High’s Christopher Holloway opened his high school golfing career in fine fashion Thursday.
Holloway, a freshman, carded a 98 at the Independence Invitational to earn a 10th place medal.
Teammates Zander Sellman was 10 strokes behind with a 108 and Josh Kaufman scored 114.
With only three golfers, IHS did not qualify to register a team score.
The Mustang golfers are at Pittsburg Tuesday.
