Iola High School football players will check out their equipment for the 2011 season at 7 a.m. Friday at the high school.
On Wednesday morning at 7 o’clock and again at 7 p.m. Thursday, the Mustang football players will compete in a “strongman” event to conclude summer conditioning. The event is at the football stadium in Riverside Park.
The Mustang football team begins two-a-day practices on Aug. 15.
The IHS 2011 football season starts Sept. 2 at home against Independence.
