Three area high school softball players received final postseason honors over the weekend when the Kansas Softball Coaches Association released its 2012 all-state teams for each classification.
Humboldt High senior Taylyn Wells and freshman Breanna Kline earned Kansas Class 3A All-State second-team honors. The Lady Cubs went undefeated in the regular season and lost in the regional tournament championship game.
Uniontown High’s senior Hope Jurgensen claimed Kansas Class 2-1A All-State second-team honors.
