Humboldt track competes at Pitt State

Humboldt traveled down to Pittsburg State to compete in the Gorilla Relays meet on Friday. 

Two Cubs placed in the top six and multiple others set personal records. 

Tucker Hurst placed third in the javelin with a throw of 167’ which was a personal record and just an inch short of second place. 

Kaylie Johnson took fifth in the triple jump with a distance of 34’8.5”.

The full Cub team will compete at the Fredonia Relays on Thursday before Hurst heads north to Lawrence to compete in the javelin at KU Relays on Saturday.
