HUMBOLDT — From last to first went Jeremy Willard in Friday night’s pure stock feature race at Humboldt Speedway.
Willard came from the back of the pack to take the lead and the victory. Blake Kisner led the first half of the race but had a spin-out that ended his night.
Matt Habiger finished second in the pure stock feature. Mike Aiello placed third, followed by Roger Oswald and Eddie Coulter.
The Vintage cars made another stop at the Speedway. Keith Simmons won wire-to-wire with Jake Simmons in second. Joe Martin ran third with Travis Moyer and Dale Reese rounding out the top five.
Justin Folk held off all challengers, and there were a few pushing him the whole race, to win the modified feature. Rodney Sigg, Brian Bolin and Scott Daniels were up front with Folk and finished 2-3-4. Jesse Folk Jr. crossed the finish line in fifth.
Battling three cars wide part of the time in the factory stock feature race, John Rossen, Brandon Weide and Brandon Tindle gave the fans a great show. Rossen claimed the victory with Weide in second.
Tyler James was able to get past Tindle for third. Patrick Kay came in fifth.
Levi McGowen bided his time as Tim VanGotten jumped out to the early lead in the B-Mod feature race. Halfway through, McGowen went to the lead and won his second feature in as many weeks.
VanGotten finished second with Jay Lamons Jr. in third. Riley Whitworth ran fourth followed by Dalton Kirk.
This Friday the OCRS Sprint Cars are back at Humboldt Speedway, along with all regular classes racing. Gates open at 6 p.m. Races starting at 8 o’clock.
