HUMBOLDT — All is right with the racing world. At least in this part of the world as Humboldt Speedway’s racing goes to its normal Friday night schedule.
The Speedway opened in March with races on Saturday. The rest of the season, which goes to September, regular program racing is Friday nights.
Brian Bolin used his outside pole starting position to get to the front of the modified feature race. Bolin led the majority of the 20-lap event and captured the victory.
Paden Phillips ran a strong second with Ryan Whitworth coming across the finish line in third. Jess Folk Jr. was fourth and Cody Alger finished fifth.
Tim VanGotten turned in a dominate race in the B-Mod feature. Dalton Kirk weaved through traffic to finish in second place. Rounding out the top five were Jay Lamons Jr., Jimmie Davis and Ronnie Wayne Bolin.
In pure stock action, Jeremy Willard captured the victory with Levi Phillips in second. Brandon Rowland was third followed by Dennis Aiello and David Matlock.
Coming out fast was Jeremy Wilson and he held his front-running spot throughout to win the factory stock feature race. In a photo finish for second, Tim Phillips edged Derrek Wilson.
Paul Snyder took fourth in the race. Dale Price was fifth.
