CHERRYVALE Humboldt competed at the Tri-Valley League meet at Cherryvale on Thursday and the Cub boys finished third while the Lady Cubs took seventh.
Luke Yokum had the lone individual top finish for the Cubs after winning the league championship in the 3200 with a time of 11:26.68. Yokum also took third in the 1600 (5:09).
The 4×800 team of Drake Harrington, Caleb Klauman, Caleb Coronado and Seth Barlow took first with a time of 8:54.17.
Tucker Hurst took second in the shot put with a throw of 424.5 and the javelin with a throw of 1530. He took third in the discus (1323.5).
The 4×400 team of Harrington, Klauman, Caleb Coronado and Isiah Coronado took second with a time of 3:48.83.
Colton Johnson took third in the high jump with a height of 56 and Caleb Coronado took third in the 800 (2:17.15).
Drew Wilhite finished third in the 3200 (11:39.89) and fourth in the 1600 (5:17).
Thane Meadows finished fourth in the 300-meter hurdles (50.3) and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (20.29).
Savanna Puckett led the way for the Lady Cubs with a first-place finish in the 400 (1:03.15).
The 4×400 (4:41.98) and 4×800 (11:41) teams consisting of Jessica Myers, Madi White, Emma Johnson and Puckett both took second.
Johnson also finished fourth in the 1600 (6:37.66) and Bri Baker took fifth in the 3200 (15:01).
Myers took fifth in the 400 and Anna Goforth finished fifth in the javelin (78).
The 4×100 team of Goforth, Peyten Galloway, Taylor Korte and White finished fifth (1:02.01).
Jailynn Goforth placed sixth in the high jump with a height of 44.
Humboldt will travel to Marion for the 2A Regional meet on Friday.
