MORAN — Troubles started early for the Wildcats, and really never seemed to let up, in a loss to the Chetopa Hornets, 63-35.
The Wildcats fell back early against their visiting opponent Tuesday evening, as the Hornets put up 17 points in the first quart to  “We’ve improved tremendously, especially in fundamentals,” he said.
The Wildcats will face off against Pleasanton Friday for their homecoming — one of the few teams they have toppled this season.
Stephenson led the Wildcats with 11 points, followed by Genn with nine.
