The Humboldt Middle School volleyball A-Team kept its undefeated streak going Thursday with a two-set win over Caney Valley, 25-15 and 25-17.
Emily Ross led the Lady Cubs with five aces. Carsyn Haviland and Ella Lassman each had three.
Karley Wools and Morgan Sterling each led the Lady Cubs with three blocks and Ross had two.
Our team has proven that they are disciplined, head coach Darcie Croisant said. We have had a very successful year and I’m so proud of how each and every team member is willing to go the distance for the success of our team.
The B-Team also pulled in a two-set win.
The Lady Cubs won set one in a dominant 25-3 fashion before taking set two 25-16.
Raegan Trester had 12 aces, followed by four for Ashlynn Works, two for Morgan Hunter and one for Kenisyn Hottenstien. Hottenstein and Works each had a block as well.
C-Team lost in two sets (25-20 and 26-24).
Shelby Daniels had four aces, Assya Go-forth had three and Emma BHymer, Addy Bauer-Onnen, Danica Molding and Kadance Ballard each had one.
