“I am very proud of our effort tonight,” head coach Jeremy Weilert said. “We were shorthanded for a variety of reasons and some players that normally don’t start for us had to step up. Our effort tonight was tremendous. The outcome wasn’t where we wanted it to be, but I am pleased with how we played.”
The Cubs will be back on January 4 when they travel to Neodesha.
