Iola baseball and softball teams have each had their games pushed back two days due to rain.

The baseball regional games at Allen Community College have been moved back to Wednesday with the same 4 p.m. first pitch that was originally scheduled for Monday. The Mustangs will play Wichita Trinity Academy in the first round with a possible regional title game to follow.

On Thursday at 4:30 p.m., the Fillies are scheduled to begin their postseason in Garnett where they face off against Anderson County. That game was originally scheduled for today, but was pushed back.

If they Fillies can top the Bulldogs, they will play in the regional championship later that night.

MARMATON VALLEY

The Wildcats were supposed to host both their first round regional softball and baseball games, but the rain foiled that plan.

Marmaton Valley will travel to Pittsburg to open regionals today with the softball team playing Colgin at Pittsburg State at 3:15 p.m., and the baseball team facing off with Oswego at 2 p.m. at Jaycee Ballpark.

HUMBOLDT

The Cubs also saw both their games bumped back to Wednesday.

Softball plays at Central Heights at 3 p.m., with baseball at Wellsville at 2 p.m.
