The Humboldt track and field team competed at Yates Center on Tuesday and out of the 11 boys teams and 10 girls teams competing, both Cub teams finished eighth.
Humboldt took a smaller squad to Yates Center due to the Pitt State Relays which took place on Friday.
For the Lady Cubs, the 4×800 team of Taylor Korte, Bri Baker, Jailynn Goforth and Peyten Galloway led the way with a second-place finish with a time of 12:55.
The 4×400 team of Goforth, Korte, Peyten Galloway and Anna Goforth took third with a time of 5:10.93.
Jailynn Goforth also finished third in the high jump with a height of 46 and fifth in the 400 (1:18).
Anna Goforth took fifth in the javelin (847).
Korte took third in the 400 (1:16) and Bri Baker finished fifth in 1600 (7:11.92).
Luke Yokum and Caleb Klauman led the way for the boys team. Yokum took second in the 800 with a time of 2:22 and Klauman finished second in the high jump with a height of 56.
The 4×400 team of Sam Neeley, Colton Johnson, Klauman and Yokum took third with a time of 4:24.95 and the 4×100 team of Neeley, Klauman, Yokum and Johnson took fifth with a time of 53.40.
Johnson finished fourth in the high jump with a height of 54.
