Iola High School’s basketball teams opened practices Monday for the 2010-2011 season.

It’s a jump stop for Iola High senior Maggie Wilson during a drill Monday afternoon for the Iola High Fillies. The Fillies are coached by Becky Carlson, who is in her sixth year at the helm of the IHS girls’ basketball team. Iola High’s Fillies and Mustangs open the new season Dec. 3 at Osawatomie. They will play in a preseason tournament hosted by Anderson County High School in Garnett, Dec. 6-10.
