Iola, Humboldt, Yates Center and Southern Coffey County high school basketball teams will play games tonight. School is back in session for Iola, Humboldt and Yates Center after three days off because of wintry weather.
Southern Coffey County doesn’t have school on Fridays with a four-day school week schedule. The Titan teams go to Madison tonight.
The Iola High Fillies and Mustangs go to Parsons for Southeast Kansas League games. Their SEK games at home against Chanute postponed from Tuesday have been rescheduled for Feb. 21.
Humboldt’s Lady Cubs and Cubs host Burlington tonight for the 2011 HHS Sweetheart court warming. It’s homecoming at Yates Center High as the Wildcat teams host Caney Valley tonight.
The Uniontown at Marmaton Valley games were postponed. Crest is in school today but Chetopa is not so CHS has to reschedule its homecoming games.
Allen County Community College’s games at Highland Community College have been moved to Monday. ACCC athletic director Randy Weber said HCC’s court was damaged by vandals and could not be repaired in time for Thursday’s games.
Rescheduled games that are known are: from Tuesday, Feb 1 — Chanute at Iola, Feb. 21; Chetopa at Uniontown, Feb. 24; Hartford at Crest, Feb. 18; Yates Center at Eureka, Feb. 17.
