FORT SCOTT — Iola High’s girls C team came up short in a pair of games Monday.
The Fillies wrapped up play in Fort Scott’s C team tournament with a 46-39 loss to host Fort Scott and a 33-17 defeat at the hands of Chanute.
All eight Iola players who suited up against Fort Scott reached the scoring column.
Riley Murry and Jadyn Sigg both had six points to lead the way. Della Lohman and Taylor Sell scored five each. Alexis Heslop followed with four. McKayli Cleaver, Brooklyn Storrer and Micaiah Larney had two apiece.
Cleaver was high-scorer in the loss to Chanute with five points. Murry and Sigg both had three points. Heslop, Lohman and Sell scored two each.
The C teams will join Iola’s varsity and junior varsity squads with home games Friday against Fort Scott.
