UNIONTOWN — Uniontown High’s Eagle girls and boys came up short against Oswego High’s Indians at home Thursday.
The Eagle girls played even with Oswego in the first half. The teams were deadlocked at 23-all at the break.
Oswego held the Eagles to 16 points in the second half. The Indians tossed in 24 to win 47-39.
“The girls really gave a good effort. We just had trouble making shots in the second half,” said Ken Holt, UHS girls’ head coach.
“No time to hang our heads as we play again (Friday).”
