High School Golf: Humboldt Cubs
Humboldt golf competed in the Fredonia Invitational on Tuesday. Ryan Sellman finished 10th, shooting an 87. Drake Hottenstein finished 20th with a 100 and Roni Bulk finished 35th with a 113.
Hottenstein and Bulk both shot personal bests by nine strokes.
(Hottenstein and Bulk) both have been working hard in practice and I am pleased with the improvement they have shown in meets, head coach Eric Sparks said. Ryan knows he could have shot better today, but a 10th place finish is still not a bad result.
Humboldt will compete at Iola on Monday.
