ST. PAUL — The Crest volleyball team continued its early season hot streak Tuesday night at St. Paul.
The Lady Lancers walked away with three hard-fought three-set wins, moving their overall record this season to 7-4.
“It was a very intense night of volleyball and we scrapped and fought in every match,” head coach Abby Hermreck said. “We will continue to work on our mental toughness and move forward.”
Crest beat Southern Coffey County 20-25, 25-20 and 25-22.
Senior Regan Godderz had 16 points with two aces and a 100 percent serving clip for the match.

Freshmen Lindsey Godderz and Anna Hermreck each had phenomenal serving, each going 100 percent on five and 10 attempts, respectively. Both Godderz and Hermreck recorded an ace.
“As freshmen, they are building confidence thanks to the upperclassmen and their leadership and encouragement,” Coach Hermreck said.
Strickler led the way with seven kills and three blocks with Bowen right behind with six kills. Senior Breyanna Benjamin led in passing.
Crest wrapped things up with the host Lady Indians, winning 25-17, 23-25 and 25-18.
