PLEASANTON — Crest High’s Lady Lancers and Lancers competed in their first track meet of the season Tuesday at the Pleasanton High Invitational.
The Crest athletes turned in six gold-medal performances along with having seven personal-best feats on the day.
The Lancers scored 87 points and ended up third as a team. The Lady Lancers were fifth with 71 points.
Dakota Ramsey claimed first place in the javelin with a throw of 163 feet, 7 inches. He also took the gold in the discus at 122’4”.
Kyle Hammond was the gold medalist in the long jump at 18’41⁄2”. Morton took first in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 35’111⁄2”.
Dustin Davis-Jones won the 3200-meter run in 11 minutes, 17.18 seconds
Kurston Gilliland captured the gold medal in the girls’ javelin. Her winning distance was 110’5”.
