Crest teams earn split

Crest's boys forged their way to the .500 mark with a win over Pleasanton Tuesday. The Lady Lancers were unable to replicate the feat with a loss.

COLONY — Crest High’s squads split their home games Tuesday against visiting Pleasanton.

The Lady Lancers struggled mightily on offense, falling 43-12.

Lindsay Godderz, Aubree Holloran and McKenna Hammond each had four points. Hammond also had three steals; Holloran had two.

In boys action, Crest improved to 7-7 on the season with a 49-40 win over the Blu-Jays.

Statistics were unavailable at press time.

The Crest squads are back in action Friday at Cherokee to take on the Southeast Lancers.
