Crest splits at Northeast

Crest High's boys dropped a 43-35 loss to Northeast Tuesday, while the Lady Lancers emerged with a 36-32 win.

ARMA — Crest High’s Lancers stayed close Tuesday, but could not get over the hump in a 43-35 loss at Northeast-Arma.

The Vikings opened a 20-15 halftime lead, and extended it to 30-23 by the end of the third quarter.

Ryan Golden and Rogan Weir shared high-scoring honors for the Lancers with 13 points apiece.

Golden also had seven rebounds. Weir dished out four assists. Denton Ramsey had three steals. Others scoring for Crest were Levi Prasko, four points, Drake Weir and Henry White, two each, and Jacob Zimmerman, one.

Crest committed 21 turnovers in the defeat.

IN GIRLS play, Crest brought home a 36-32 victory. No other details were available.

Crest returns to action Friday at Oswego.
