PLEASANTON — Crest Middle School’s boys and girls all brought home victories on the basketball court Thursday.
The girls were particularly dominant, with the B team squad winning 26-0 and the A team on top 43-11.
The A team was led by Laurel Godderz with 22 points, Miranda Golden with 11, Taryn Covey with four and Makayla Jones with two. Karlee Hammond had four points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.
A balanced scoring attack paced the B team. Regan Godderz scored eight points, while Jones, Camryn Smith and Kaitlyn LaCross scored six apiece.
Crest’s boys pulled out a 31-26 victory over the Blu-Jays.
Carter Messenger was Crest’s leading scorer with 17 points, followed by Gage Adams with 10. Nate Berry, Caleb Stephens and Austin Hendrix each had two points.
