COLONY — Crest Middle School’s girls dropped a 42-17 decision in A-team play to visiting St. Rose of Garnett Thursday.
St. Rose led 18-10 at halftime then went on a big second-half run.
Scoring four points each for Crest were Madison Covey, Madison Kellar and Lyndia Bradshaw. Karlee Hammond added three points and Laurel Godderz had two points.
St. Rose won a two-quarter B-team game 15-2. Brooklynn Gray-LaCross had two points for Crest.
On Monday, Crest was at Westphalia.
In A-team play, Westphalia used a 30-13 first-half lead to beat Crest 54-32. Kratzberg of Westphalia had 32 points.
Kellar paced the Lady Lancers with 18 points. Hammond added six.
M. Covey and Godderz each tossed in four points.
Crest won the two-quarter B-team game 21-14. Hammond led the way with six points.
Scoring four points each were Miranda Golden, Bradshaw and Godderz. Gray-LaCross tossed in three points.
All 14 of Westphalia’s points were scored by Ratliff.
