COLONY — Crest Middle School’s Lancers nailed down a 34-18 win over visiting Pleasanton Thursday with a 14-6 run in the third quarter.
The Lancers led 14-8 at halftime of the A-team game. Crest is 4-3.
Rene Rodriguez and Hunter Frazell each fired in nine points for Crest. Evan Godderz chipped in with six points and Austin Green had four.
Kyler Bowen, Braden McGhee and Colton Strickler each scored two points.
In a two-quarter B-team game, Crest won 16-8. Colton Strickler led the Lancers with six points and Brandon Brailler had four. Godderz and Kaden Strickler each had three points.
Crest hosts Westphalia next Thursday.
