COFFEYVILLE — Despite playing without a second singles player Tuesday, Iola High’s tennis team still found success on the court.
Iola’s two doubles teams of Stephen McDonald and Mason Key and Bryan Mueller and Colby Works each took second in their respective divisions.
McDonald and Key, the Mustangs’ top doubles team, went 3-1.
Mueller and Works, as the No. 2 doubles team, also went 3-1.
Tyler Heinrich took home fourth as Iola’s No. 1 singles player, going 1-3.
“We didn’t have a full team and still took third as a team,” Mustang coach Lyle Kern said.
Iola is at Chanute Friday.
