Iola High’s cross country team’s first practice will not by Monday as reported in the Register Thursday.
IHS cross country head coach Marvin Smith has changed it to Tuesday evening. He said he had to be out of town for a meeting on Monday.
The first practice will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday He said boys and girls, grades 9-12, interested in competing should meet at the parking lot on the northeast side of Lake Bassola.
Lake Bassola is south of Iola on State Street. Turn left on Bassett Street which curves to the left to become Washington.
