Marmaton Valley High’s Wildcats and the Southern Coffey County High Lady Titans were guests of the St. Paul High Indians Tuesday.
The Lady Titans made themselves much more at home than the Indians or the Wildcats would have liked. Southern Coffey County beat St. Paul 25-10, 17-25, 25-17 and defeated Marmaton Valley 25-18, 25-22.

“We had two completely different teams in this match. We did a lot of things well in the first set and a lot of things bad in the second set. In the third set, we turned around and played much better again,” said Korey Lankton, SCC head coach.
Against Marmaton Valley, Jacob and Isch each had seven kills. Jacob came up with six digs. Scheele made 13 set assists and Parks had five assists.
“Marmaton Valley has improved and they did a good job of stopping any runs we would make and staying in the game,” Lankton said.

“The girls played well but came up short,” said Lindsay Ermel, MVHS head coach.
