With the high school basketball season at an end, the postseason awards and accolades have started to stream in.
League honors for the Pioneer, Three Rivers, Tri-Valley and Lyon County Leagues have been released and multiple players on area teams have been named All-League by the coaches.
Leading the way for the Three Rivers League are two seniors who earned unanimous first-team honors.
Yates Center senior Aaron King and Crest senior Hayden Hermeck were on the top of the ballot of the Three Rivers League boys selections.
King averaged 22.6 points and 12.6 rebounds in his senior season while Hermreck averaged 18.7 points and 7.3 rebounds.
Fellow Yates Center senior Hadley Splechter earned second-team honors.
Marmaton Valley senior Caiden Elliott, Crest junior Zach Beckmon and senior Jacob Holloran and Yates Center freshman Kendrick Jones and senior Nolan Jones each earned honorable mention honors.
On the girls side, Crest senior Regan Godderz and junior Jaylee Catron each earned second-team honors while Crest junior Rylee Beckmon and senior Cassie Bowen, Yates Center junior Madelynn Collins, junior Taylor Jacobs and senior Allison Pringle and Marmaton Valley junior Bailey Griffith all were named as honorable mention honorees.
In the Pioneer League, Iola garnered two all-league selections between the boys and girls teams.
Junior Cal Leonard and senior Madisyn Holloway were named to the second team.
In the Tri-Valley League, three Humboldt players earned all-league honors. Senior Bo Bigelow was the lone honoree for the boys while seniors Aricah McCall and Maggie Johnson were named on the girls side.
Junior Conor Haviland was named as an honorable mention pick.
In the Lyon County League, the Southern Coffey County boys managed two selections while the girls got two spots in honorable mention.
Senior Dawson Leimkuhler was a first-team selection and senior Kolgan Ohl was named to the second team.
Junior Reed Szambecki and senior Crystal Alumbaugh earned honorable mention.
