Allen Community College and cross country coach Vince DeGrado will host DeGrado’s fifth annual Red Devil Cross Country Camp beginning tonight with registration from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the ACC Recreational Building.
The four-day camp is designed for students entering 7th-12th grade. Exceptions for younger athletes can be made, but are at the discretion of DeGrado.
The camp will consist of morning and evening runs, as well as classroom sessions covering running topics.
Each runner at the camp will receive a gait analysis using Dartfish video software.
Middle school and high school coaches who wish to attend the camp are encouraged to contact DeGrado about receiving discounted rates.
For campers, planning on just attending the activities during the day and not spending the night on campus, cost for attendance is $100. For campers, who require housing during the camp, the cost is $125.
All campers will receive meals, a camp t-shirt, water bottle and copies of all running material used during the camp.
