JuCo Soccer:
Both the Allen County mens and womens soccer team hosted Coffeyville on Wednesday. The men fell 2-0 but the women pulled out an overtime 3-2 win.
The men fell to 2-3-2 and 0-2 in Jayhawk Conference play while the women moved to 3-4 and 1-1 in league play.
The Lady Devils Destinee Smith scored her first of three goals in the game to take an early lead before Coffeyville tied it back up.
Smith again found the back of the net just after halftime to give the Lady Devils another lead.
Coffeyville tied it up before the end of regulation and sent the game into overtime.
After a scoreless first half, Smith came through again with just a few minutes left to give Allen County the win.
The Allen County men had five shots on goal but couldnt get anything going as Coffeyville took a 2-0 lead in the first half and held on tight.
Both teams travel to Arkansas City today for a match-up with Cowley County.
