“We played a pretty challenging schedule to date and while we are in no way satisfied with the overall record, we are pleased with the progress we’ve made,” said Mark James, ACCC women’s head coach.
Allen County came back from a 36-34 halftime deficit against McPherson Saturday. The Red Devils outscored McPherson 40-30 in the second half for the win.

“Winning three of our last four games is something we can build off of and a sign of things to come for our young team,” James said.
“The Jayhawk East will be extremely competitive yet again this season. The schedule makers didn’t do us any favors as we go on the road for the first three games of conference. If we put forth the type of effort we’ve shown so far this season, I like our chances against anybody.”
