GOODYEAR, Ariz. — Allen County Community College’s Red Devils began play in the 2010 NJCAA Division II National Golf Tournament Tuesday.
After the first round, Allen County was 13th with a 314, which is 26 strokes over par. Darton College of Georgia and South Mountain of Ariz. were tied for first with 289.
The Red Devils’ Rob Carlson was tied for 46th with a 76. Nick Agnew and Bryant Welch both shot 78s, tying for 61st. William Clark carded an 82.
The tournament is being played at Palm Valley Golf Course.
