HESSTON — Allen Community College’s men won their 2012 season-opening soccer match Tuesday. The Red Devil men shut out host Hesston 4-0.
Jordan Drake recorded a shutout in goal for ACC with one save. Leonel Martinez and Dorian Fox each scored two goals. Jhovany Baltazar was credited with two assists on goals while Josh Park and Arturo Marrufo had one assist each.
The ACC women lost 3-1 to Hesston. Autumn Ferrell scored the goal for the Red Devils on an assist by Danielle Wilber. Keelie Arbuckle made eight saves in goal.
The Red Devil women lost 11-0 to Butler at El Dorado Aug. 29.
Allen’s women and men host Independence Thursday in a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
