Allen Community College swept the awards for Allen County Area Athlete of the Month, as both Jordan Mase and Laia Jaca were selected as winners.
Both athletes have excelled in the red and black this season.
Although the ACC mens soccer team missed a conference playoff spot, Mase was a major reason the Red Devils were in contention. Mase was ACCs leading scorer this season with 11 goals and is new to the Allen County community. He is originally from England.
Jaca is one of the major reasons ACC volleyball is in a turnaround season from last years winless conference record. Jaca has helped the Red Devils remain in contention for a conference playoff position by setting up her teammates for success at the net. In last weeks match against Cloud County, Jaca earned 41 assists.
